Route traffic by fixed percentage

Set a fixed percentage of traffic to be routed to a secondary upstream service.

Environment variables

UPSTREAM_HOST: The hostname of your upstream service without the the http or https prefix. For example, example.com.

Set up the plugin

Add this section to your declarative configuration file:

region: Geographic region where your Kong Konnect is hosted and operates.
controlPlaneId: The id of the control plane.
KONNECT_TOKEN: Your Personal Access Token (PAT) associated with your Konnect account.

Prerequisite: Configure your Personal Access Token
